History

Nstyle was opened in April 2003 by a local Edmond family, Scott, Darlene, and Dave Wilkins. Dave runs the store and his mother, Darlene, works in store part time, does all the business paper work and makes sure the bills are paid.

After Dave got out of the army, he moved to Kansas to work. While living there he found a place to shop for the brands of clothes he wore. They also paid cash for his used clothes. After shopping there awhile, he became an employee and learned how the business worked.

While living in Kansas, Dave found out he had cancer. He moved back to Oklahoma to be near family and friends. He began to talk to his parents, Scott and Darlene, about the resale store in Kansas. After recovering from cancer, he finally convinced them to give it a try.

Our first store was only 600 sq ft and located close to UCO. A few months into the business we knew we needed a bigger store, so the hunt was on for a different location. We found a spot that was 1600 sq ft at 2nd and Bryant, in Bryant Square. It was close to UCO, and being in a retail area was the best thing for the business.

After 16 months we knew once again we needed more room, so the search for a larger spot was on. We wanted to stay close to the colleges (UCO & OCU) and stay on the East side of Edmond. We found our present location of 3100 sq ft just around the corner from Bryant Square. We have been at this spot for over 3 years and it has been a good move. 3 moves in less than 3 years - don't want to do that again.
